If you haven't downloaded the new remaster of 70-10-31 (Stony Brook) it's well worth the effort.

First, it's nice to have a '70 show with such quality and secondly it's sweet to hear a rare "Till the Morning Comes" (1 of 5 times played). I believe it's the last time Viola Blues was played.

Plus, you get the New Riders sets as a bonus for your listening pleasure. Though they do play a few songs in both sets.

It's currently torrenting on multiple sites in both 44.1k and 48k versions.

Thank you Charlie!!!

Funny, I had moved to some Mahler, but after writing this I have to crank-it-up again.

KPPC interview 12/27-8/70 with NRPS & JG & BW is a good companion to listening to this show. Don't think is is here on Archive, but it does circulate. Window on the connection of all those guys and the scene at that time. Check it out.

Both early & late shows with NRPS now here:

Yes, for both shows.

Both shows: John Dawson - rhythm guitar, vocals, David Nelson - lead guitar, vocals, David Torbert - bass, vocals, Jerry Garcia - pedal steel guitar, Spencer Dryden - drums.

He played with them from Aug 7, 1969 to Oct 31, 1971 (187 shows).
